To Manchester
Manchester has 4 principle train stations within the city centre: Piccadilly, Oxford Road, Deansgate, and Victoria. The nearest station to the conference venue is Oxford Road, however this is a small station with few taxis available. The main station is Piccadilly.
Manchester International airport has good public transport links to the city centre by train between 05.00 and 22.30 daily. Taxis are also available.
Within Manchester
The conference centre is a short walk from many of the cultural highlights of Manchester. However, many frequent bus services are present throughout the city. Information on buses, trains and the metrolink are available on the above website. Using public transport in Manchester is generally preferable to driving, due to the density of traffic, high parking tariffs and a complex 1 way traffic system in the city centre!
Please note that parking at the conference venue is difficult. If delegates require further information on parking at MMU please contact the conference organisers.
For further guidance on travel in the city centre please see the All Saints campus map (.pdf 652kb)
